Just a beautiful little morning at Crane Park with this sweet family. The sun was cooperating, the kiddos were so chill, and the flowers were in full bloom. I'd call that a perfect session!

Another senior portrait session where I can't even begin to pick favorites, so here is just an assorted bunch! While Lileigh went with a full session, sometimes we end up with a lot more than 25 final images to choose from. In this case I think she'll get closer to 40 in her gallery. Our setting here is at Pilgrim Haven Natural Area, and the weather really delivered. It started off quite windy (see the first image for evidence) and thankfully died down, ending the evening in a beautiful sunset. 

Extended family sessions are so special and I love to get the big, important shots that include kids done first. You can slowly see their enthusiasm dwindle, but these kiddos really hung in there for what was a pretty hot afternoon! A big thanks to this family for having me out- what a beautiful group!

I love love love getting to photograph little ones in the first few weeks of life! Bonus when I get to rent out Honeytree Studio to do it. I love the natural light that pours in from the front windows and the cozy setup for an at-home feel. My newborn photography style is more lifestyle than your typical posed studio looks- and I love how this style can really capture what the first bits of newborn life are like. This little guy was asleep for about half the time and was awake and content for the other half!
