Q: Who should come with me to my senior portrait session? Answer: Whoever you want! Think about who will help you up + boost your confidence during the shoot. If you're more independent and want to come solo, that's just fine too! Maybe your mom and your best friend would work out well- maybe your whole group of friends! I honestly don't have a preference, I just want you to feel happy and comfortable with who is around you. Q: What should I wear? Answer: The outfits you feel most yourself + confident in. I always suggest one more casual look, and one more dressed up/fancier look. If you choose a senior photography package with time for a third or fourth outfit change, maybe you pick out a sports jersey or hobby-specific outfit and accessories. It's completely up to you and what you feel represents you best. Just make sure you iron/steam outfits ahead of time if they require it and try to bring everything with you on a hanger. Q: How and when will I get my images? Answer: Two weeks after your session, I will post a preview blog on my website so you can see a few sample images. You can opt out of this if you wish, but it's a nice way to share your preview with family/friends as you wait for your full gallery. Within two more days, I'll send you a personalized online gallery with plenty of image options to choose from. This private gallery will allow you to download a certain number of images for free (the number that comes with your package). If you decide you like and want more than the images you receive for free, you can always choose to buy more of your digital images and/or order more in prints. Q: Do the sessions come with printed products? What does the print credit mean? Answer: Your session fee covers the time we spend together, a certain number of high-resolution digital downloads, and a print credit for you to use in your online gallery shop to order printed products. That way you only order what you want! I do not require you to order printed products from me, but since you have a print credit to get you started, most people tend to use that, at minimum, for ordering products. That print credit comes to you in the form of a coupon code and you can use it within the first three weeks of your gallery access. Within those same first three weeks, you also receive a 10% discount on anything in your shop. Seniors frequently order print packs, framed photos, canvases, or photo books of their favorite images. Your full gallery can even be shared with friends and family you want, so grandparents can even order their own printed products of you. You will also receive a personal use copyright release if needed so you can print your pictures anywhere. Q: Why should I choose you as my Senior Photographer? Answer: There are so many wonderful senior photographers in the Kalamazoo area to choose from, so select someone who offers packages that fit your needs and style. I offer three senior photography packages that fit a variety of budgets, and are personalized to you. We can take your photographs just about wherever you want, and we'll work together to make sure your final images represent you!
