Caitlin was my last senior portrait session before I hop on a little maternity leave here for much of the summer! It was such a beautiful overcast night to end on. We had our pick of the scenery at Pilgrim Haven Natural Area in South Haven without having to worry a bit about the sun (the wind was another story)! Caitlin here was so fun and easy to work with. I'm grateful to resume more senior (and family) sessions at the end of August. Books are full for the summer now and I'm working on filling my September. If you're a senior looking for a session, check out your options here.

Leah's session was so fun to do! We started out at Portage Northern on the football field to highlight color guard and then wrapped up at Heritage Hall- my favorite. Senior portraits are such a special tradition and this was my second time working with this family- what an honor!
It's been such a full season that I've been skipping the preview part of most of my sessions but these next few seniors just deserve a little spotlight before I get right to their gallery! Hazel here was so sweet to work with and we visited my two favorite spots for senior sessions- Pilgrim Haven and Heritage Hall! Senior portraits here in Kalamazoo are so special, but heading out to South Haven once in a while can be so fun too. Here is just a small look at what will be her undoubtedly huge gallery of images.
A few times a year I get to photograph graduates from some of our local schools, and as an alumni from WMU I love getting to photograph spring graduates on campus! Gabby here was so fun to work with and I'm so grateful I got to capture these portraits of her all over campus. Spring was really springing and we had to reschedule halfway through our first session because of all the wind, but on our second try our weather was so much better. Just a very small preview of our time together here:
I'm offering a limited number of mini sessions on Friday & Saturday, May 9th & 10th (Mother’s Day Weekend) to help you capture your family before a busy summer begins. If you’re gathering with family here in town that weekend, it’s a fun time to include grandparents in the fun! These sessions will be short and sweet! 15 minutes for $150.
Friday sessions will take place at Pilgrim Haven Natural Area in South Haven (beach and forest setting) and Saturday will take place at Paw Paw Prairie Fen Preserve in Mattawan (prairie setting). Booking for these special mini-sessions opens on March 1st. Keep an eye on my socials for that reminder, or send me a quick note or message and I’ll be sure to include you in a separate email to remind you the day before booking opens! |
