Twins Rowan and Renesmae and their one year old little brother Paul Jr. frolicked about with me at Paw Paw Prairie Fen Preserve for some winter family portraits and to celebrate the little guy turning one! It was so sweet to see how much effort the girls and their mom put into making him smile and giggle for these. He is one lucky little human to be surrounded by so much love!

One of my first portrait sessions was for a pair of newborn twins at their home. After that I decided it was the only type of newborn photography I would do. Close ups of little toes and tiny hands, snuggles with mama or papa, scrunched up faces- all the good squishy newborn vibes. I love capturing new life with a family, cozied up together right at home! This little one is a fresh four weeks old and she essentially slept through the whoooole thing. 💤 ☀️           Lillian Anderson Arboretum is one of my favorite spots to hike. The Magnificent Pines is, in my opinion, the most beautiful section of the property (runner up would be The Not So Magnificent Pines which I assure you is a real thing with signage and everything). Sara and Shawn brought their girls and pups along for a hike all the way out to the pines for their family portraits together! Finalist(s) will be notified on April 9, 2021 by email and mail. Runner up(s) will receive a complimentary Senior portrait session or a Graduation portrait session to be redeemed in 2021. Eligibility: Open to Kalamazoo County & Van Buren County high school residents who are: + Graduating a high school or GED program in 2021 OR 2022 (current high school Seniors and Juniors) + Pursuing part-time or full-time enrollment in higher education, including vocational or technical training, trade school, or two-year or four-year degree programs in 2021 or 2022 + Funds may be used for tuition and fees, room and board, books, transportation and/or personal expenses associated with the cost of pursuing higher education - OR -
