I sifted through about 1,000 photographs to find some gems to deliver for this extended family portrait session- and I'm quite happy with the 150 or so we ended up with. Here is just a little preview of these family portraits along Lake Michigan! I'm thinking I need to start asking all of my clients to just have a beach night together and let me document it- because this was by far one of my favorite sessions of the summer and so fun to photograph!

I've had the pleasure of photographing this family for a few years now and it's so sweet to see how children grow and change from year to year. Beau here was just a little babe the first time I photographed them in their backyard and now he's THREE! This family is the sweetest, easiest, and so fun to take family pictures for. We visited Celery Flats in Portage for this family portrait session and we had the most *beautiful* weather. Meredith and John are excitingly expecting this October- adding a fourth little family member this fall!
It was a beautiful, sunny afternoon here in Kalamazoo for Carlee's senior pictures! We visited Asylum Lake Nature Preserve and then went down to the Vine neighborhood to capture some portraits. I'm always so grateful and impressed when I give seniors like Carlee a prompt and they just nail it. Her confidence and light radiate in these few shots and I can't wait to share her full gallery of senior portraits! Carlee booked a full Senior Portrait session with me which means she'll end up with 45+ final digital images in her online gallery as well as a $25 print credit to make sure these photos don't stay digital! As of this month I still have August, September, and October openings for Senior Portrait bookings!
I've had so much fun sharing my senior portrait sessions over the years and we're starting off this summer season with Brooke! I've known her since she was just a little lady and had the pleasure of babysitting her when she was around 3/4 years old. She came to the camp I worked at each summer when we were both a bit older and it's been wild and so lovely to see her again now that she's a senior! I can't thank her and her family enough for giving me the honor of capturing her senior pictures.
