I'm always game for a big family session with a few generations! Better yet when Grandpa and Grandma can host our session in their backyard. This big, sweet family was so fun to photograph!

I'm so glad I've got all these winter family clients who are excited about sessions in the woods! It was *frigid* this day but Al Sabo still made for the perfect backdrop for this portrait session. I saw a couple other photographers out that day sneaking in some photos while the light lasted. This little group was so fun to work with and this young man really stole the show if you ask me. What a sweetie!
Another beautiful at-home session with this family in their new house! I've been lucky enough to photograph this family since their oldest was just a baby and it's so sweet to watch them grow. Family portraits at home are just the coziest. My portrait photography style uses natural light whenever possible and their entire wall facing the lake is window light- the ideal setup! Add in an unseasonably warm afternoon and it was just the perfect day for a portrait session.
We had the most beautifully overcast day for Ryan's senior portraits out at Heritage Hall in Kalamazoo. Yearbook deadlines are coming up soon and this month is the last to sneak in some quick portraits!
Senior Portraits are an important part of starting your senior year! Ekkas is a senior over at Portage Northern High School and he booked a full senior package, which includes two locations. We had the most beautiful fall color at Crane Park in Kalamazoo and then headed over to Heritage Hall on WMU's east campus. Both spots had so much to offer this time of year for backdrops, and I'm pretty pleased with how these preview images turned out!
