Parker showed up for his senior portrait session ready to go! I never know how prompts and posing with a client is going to go- I always hope they feel confident and comfortable but sometimes it takes a moment to warm up. Thankfully Parker was ready to roll and his confidence is pretty clear in the images we got. We started out at Riverview Launch along the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail and then hit up a favorite of mine- Asylum Lake Preserve. Asylum is perfect because it's got a huge mix of landscape: forest, lake, savanna, and prairie!

Ali here was SO MUCH FUN to work with. Her confidence was evident in just about all of the prompts I gave her to try out and I was lucky enough to even capture some genuine laughter! We visited a little pocket park in Portage to start and then took a little hike at Asylum Lake Nature Preserve. When I say *took a little hike* I mean this girl walked nearly a mile up and down rough terrain to the lake and back in heels and rocked it. An inspiration.
You know when you're with a couple and their chemistry is off the charts and they have wild amounts of fun together and you're like, THIS is what soul mates look like? Cait & AJ are all that and then some. This was happily my second time getting to photograph them and their sweet little faces. WHEW! This is just a tiny snippet of what their gallery will look like. I hope I get to document their love until they're 100.
It's always so sweet to get the whole family together! This extended family portrait session was full of all the aunts, uncles, cousins, moms and dads and they snuggled up to create some photos to remember this time together.
