Emily & Wyatt tied the knot on Sunday, October 25th at Portage Creek Bicentennial Park, just outside of Hayloft Theatre. These two hosted a cozy and intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends. They have been together for seven years to the day! The pandemic had them changing wedding plans left and right, but you wouldn't be able to tell. These two are the real deal and I am so grateful to have captured it! Here is just a little sneak peek into their day together:

Dillan's senior portraits were a breeze! We lucked out and got the best weather of the week. Lost Dunes Golf Club in Bridgman provided some incredible views for his fall senior pictures. 🍁☀️
Payton met me at Asylum Lake last week for her senior portrait session and let me tell you- this girl rock a fall vibe. She's got the confidence to do whatever she sets her mind to and I'm so grateful to have captured senior pictures for her!
I always feel so grateful when a family returns to me for new photos each year. Getting to see families grow from behind the lens is one of my favorite parts of this job! This fall has been (thankfully) booked each week with sweet little families like this one, plus a handful of seniors and couples. We're heading into cooler weather, but don't let that stop you from booking an outdoor portrait session! Family photographers in Kalamazoo have a variety of go-to spots- and I'm happy to share my top five favorite locations include: ➊ Kleinstuck Preserve (Kalamazoo - pictured here)
➋ Asylum Lake Preserve (Kalamazoo) ➌ Paw Paw Prairie Fen Preserve (Mattawan) ➍ Lillian Anderson Arboretum (Kalamazoo) ➎ Spring Valley Park (Kalamazoo) Ben met me outside of the Central Library on Rose Street last week for his senior portraits and we spent the next hour exploring the downtown area together. Even though Ben is more used to being behind the camera, he was a natural in front of it. He's got a bright future and big plans ahead of him and I was honored to capture senior pictures for him! We wandered down the Kalamazoo Mall and found a dozen beautiful little spots. If you haven't been downtown Kalamazoo this fall yet, I recommend checking it out. Right now the Metro Toyota SkeleTour is going on – a month-long celebration where downtown streets are adorned with skeletons representing local businesses. Was it hard to avoid all the skeletons in these photos? Yes. Did we make it work? Yes. Do I regret not asking Ben to pose with one of these creepy skeletons? Yes.
