Yuna here is a student at Mt. Pleasant High School, and I'm so honored she traveled all this way for her portraits! We started out the golden hour at Heritage Hall on Western Michigan University's East Campus. This spot is slept on and is definitely becoming my favorite for Seniors! It's got a beautiful mix of architecture and is surrounded by old-growth trees. If you go at the right time the sun peeps through them and makes a beautiful backdrop for portraits. Of course, it really helps when you've got a model who knows how to rock each and every prompt you give her. We ended the night at Asylum Lake Nature Preserve (another big favorite of mine) and had some glorious late evening light. This was certainly a perfectly lit night and I'm crossing fingers I continue my streak of beautiful weather this year!
